Kindergarten

At Invictus, we follow the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, a globally recognised programme designed for learners aged 3 to 6. Cambridge Early Years is the first stage in the Cambridge Pathway, which gives students a clear path for educational success. The six curriculum areas help to guide and support progress across all areas of development:

• Understanding the World
• Physical Development
• Personal, Social & Emotional Development
  

In addition, students learn Chinese as a second language, using traditional Chinese characters. We also integrate Singapore Math to strengthen foundational skills through a hands-on, concept-based approach that helps students truly internalise what they learn.

Our curriculum balances academic readiness with play-based and inquiry-based learning, while also supporting children's holistic development through outdoor learning experiences and real-world exploration.

Tailored Learning for Every Child

At Invictus, we understand that every child is unique. Lessons are thoughtfully tailored to each learner’s pace and style. In our diverse school community, children are introduced to cross-cultural awareness from an early age, helping them grow into resilient, confident, collaborative, and expressive individuals. Our goal is to nurture each child's potential and prepare them to become global citizens who are both curious and compassionate.

To make the success of our curriculum, parental support is also essential. We develop strong family-school partnerships to ensure active communication with parents on the development and progress of our young learners. Parents will be invited to participate in school’s monthly events in order to get a depth of understanding on how children learn at Invictus. Regarding the classes, we offer both half day or full day from nursery to reception. In the morning we focus on language development and mathematics.

Programme Structure & Timings

We offer both half-day and full-day programmes for Nursery to Reception:

• Half Day: 8:30am – 11:45am
• Full Day: 8:30am - 2:45pm
  

Morning sessions focus on language development and mathematics.
Afternoon sessions explore other curriculum areas, including physical, creative, and inquiry-based learning.
A typical school year at Invictus International Kindergarten (Hong Kong) is from August to June.

Cambridge International Curriculum

The Cambridge international curriculum sets a global standard for education and is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. Our curriculum is flexible, challenging, and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach. Cambridge students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success at university and in their future careers.

• Over 10,000 schools in over 160 countries follow the Cambridge international curriculum
• The curriculum is international in philosophy and approach, but can be tailored to local contexts
• Cambridge students study for Cambridge international qualifications which are accepted and recognised around the world
• Schools can also combine the Cambridge International curriculum with national curricula
• Cambridge students moving between Cambridge schools can continue their studies following the same curriculum

Tseung Kwan O Campus

Invictus Kindergarten is located in the new Monterey waterside development in Tseung Kwan O, with the commercial areas of Kowloon East in one direction, and the mountains, islands, and beaches of Sai Kung and Clearwater Bay in the other. We are a short walk or minibus ride from Tseung Kwan O MTR station, providing an easy and reliable link to the rest of Hong Kong.
