Beach Cleaning: Preserving Our Shores
Our incredible Year 9 students recently embarked on an inspiring mission to Shek-O Beach with A Plastic Ocean Foundation (APO)! APO, committed to leading the charge against plastic pollution in Hong Kong, joined forces with our students to clean up the beach and educate on the importance of environmental conservation. Isabella and Edison from APO shared their invaluable insights, empowering our future leaders to take action. Together, we embraced the rocky shores of Shek-O, dedicating ourselves to the cause. The result? A remarkable 177.7 kilograms of plastic waste removed! Amidst this impactful endeavor, BBC captured our students in action, highlighting the collaboration with a Father-Son Sailing Team.
